Golden Shrimp Rolls With AjiDo Bonito Teriyaki Sauce

๐Ÿงพ Ingredients:

  • Whole shrimp (peeled, deveined, tail optional)
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • Popia (spring roll) skin
  • AjiDo Teriyaki Bonito sauce (for dipping)
  • Oil for frying

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ Method:

1. Prep the shrimp

  • Pat shrimp completely dry (very important for crispiness).
  • Lightly marinate with:
    • A drizzle of sesame oil
    • Pinch of salt
    • Dash of white pepper
  • Let sit 10–15 minutes 

2. Wrap

  • Place shrimp near one edge of the popia skin.
  • Roll tightly, keeping it snug around the shrimp.
  • Seal edge with a bit of water.

3. Fry

  • Heat oil to medium (about 170°C).
  • Fry until:
    • Skin = golden and blistered
    • Shrimp = just cooked (about 2–3 minutes)
